Your reflections stay yours.

By default, everything you write — onboarding answers (including, if you choose to share them, your cycles, the date of your last period and past pregnancies or losses), journeys, birth plans, birth-story drafts, partnership check-ins, feeding preferences, and the cards and words you keep in My space — is saved only in your browser's localStorage. It does not leave your device, and we cannot read it. The only exceptions are the optional waitlist and the two AI features described below, all of which you start yourself.

Clearing your browser data, switching browsers, or using a different device will remove or hide it.

• The Companion. When you send a message, that message and the earlier messages in the conversation are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, so it can write a reply. We also send the context that shapes the answer: your stage and week, your tone preference, and any priorities or journeys you selected.
• Moonlight Stories. When you tap "generate", the reflections you wrote for that story, and your baby's name if you entered one, are sent to Anthropic so it can write the keepsake. The result is returned to your browser and saved locally.
• What we do with it. We do not store Companion messages or story text on our servers, and we do not log their content. Anthropic processes them under its own terms; see its privacy policy. Both features are optional, and the rest of 10 moons works without them. Please don't include details you would not want to share with an online service.
• Hosting logs. Like every website, the platform that serves 10 moons (Cloudflare) records standard technical logs (IP, user agent, requested URL) for security and uptime. To limit abuse, the AI features briefly check your IP address in memory to count requests; we do not store it. We do not run advertising or marketing trackers, and we do not sell or share data with brokers.

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the date you joined (which is when you gave consent), the version of the consent wording you agreed to, and the page you signed up from. Nothing else: no name, no IP address, and nothing you wrote elsewhere in the app.

• Why. To email you about 10 moons: early access and the occasional note from the team. We use it for nothing else, and we never sell or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• Legal basis. Your consent, given by ticking the box. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Where. In a Cloudflare Workers KV store, run by Cloudflare, the platform that already hosts 10 moons. Cloudflare may store and process the data outside Switzerland and the EU.
• How long. Until you leave the list, or until we stop running the waitlist, when we delete it.
• Leaving. Enter your email below and it is deleted straight away. You don't need to contact us.

10 moons has no accounts. Apart from the optional waitlist, it asks for no email, and there is nothing to log into.

10 moons is written for adults preparing for or recovering from birth. It is not directed at children.

Because your app data lives in your browser, you can delete it yourself at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings. You can remove your waitlist email yourself with the form above. If you have questions about this notice or your data, email us at hello@10moons.app.
