Terms

A few honest words.

Educational use

10 moons is a perinatal companion that gathers evidence-based information and gentle reflection prompts. It is not medical advice and not a substitute for care from your obstetrician, midwife, pediatrician, IBCLC, psychologist, or other clinician. Using 10 moons does not create a clinician–patient relationship.

In an emergency

Please see our safety page. For any acute concern about you or your baby, contact your local emergency number or go to a hospital.

Acceptable use

Don't copy our content for commercial republication, and don't use 10 moons to harass anyone, including yourself. Be gentle with what you write here — write what would help you, not what would punish you.

Content & sources

We cite peer-reviewed and major-body guidance throughout (WHO, ACOG, AAP, ABM, UNICEF, BJSM / Davenport et al. 2025, and writers like Esther Perel and Donald Winnicott for the relational material). Guidelines evolve. See References for the full list and always check with your clinician about your specific situation.

No warranty

We work hard to be accurate, but 10 moons is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and to the extent allowed by law we are not liable for decisions made based on the content.

Changes

We update guidance as the evidence updates. We may also update these terms; the current version lives at this page.
